Here\u2019s why:<\/p>\n<p>Colleen dabbled as an entrepreneur during her days as the co-anchor on WCCO TV in the 1990&#8217;s. She was disappointed in her search for wholesome, positive programming for her young children, so she created, directed and produced her own show during the early days of cable TV. When she sold that show to Animal Planet, excitement grew around the idea of \u201cwhat\u2019s possible?\u201d for her family in the TV programming business.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What we concentrate on grows<\/strong><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_10581\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-10581\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-10581\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/ColleenSteward2-300x201.jpeg\" alt=\"A record-breaking crowd at the Good Leadership Breakfast hung on every word from the charming TV anchor turned successful entrepreneur. \" width=\"300\" height=\"201\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-10581\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">A record-breaking crowd at the Good Leadership Breakfast hung on every word from the charming TV anchor turned successful entrepreneur.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>As cable TV blossomed, she began to see abundant opportunities\u2026so she quit the high-paying, high-profile co-anchor job on WCCO TV in Minneapolis, and started Tremendous! Entertainment.
